Challenges and Fear in the New Year 2017
We know that, with changes in administration, immigration rules and regulations are also likely to be undergo significant changes.

New Year, New Administration, New Challenges in 2017!
There is no denying President Elect Trump’s proposal for “an impenetrable wall” along the southern border has gotten his administration the most mass media coverage. However, there will undoubtedly be more subtle administrative changes in immigration policies. Such changes will probably have more immediate effects on everyday lives of workers from abroad. Look to Morgan Law Counselors for advice and council whenever you have questions about your legal status.
For example, Trump has said he will deter illegal immigration by “turning off the jobs and benefits magnet” that attracts foreign workers. We ask our clients and blog-readers to remember, this means he will bring more stringent regulations to bear on businesses which employ people who do not have legal work authorization.
Although rules changes might startle you, they are not being done to hassle those of you who fill out your forms, pay your fees and follow the legal rules of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
Challenges of the New Year Accepted!
You will find us more motivated than ever, in 2017 to help our clients understand the rules, submit paperwork under the deadlines and properly pay fees. Look to this blog and to the Beacon for the latest information on immigration stories and reliable alerts.

Personal Challenges, Resolutions and Quotations for 2017
In our search for some words of wisdom for you for the New Year, we found a beautiful, strength-giving quote from Helen Keller. She said, “Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties.” Read more inspirational sayings for 2017 at Brainy Quotes.
As Goran Persson wrote, “Let our New Year’s resolution be this:
We will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word.
Likewise, Oprah Winfrey simply said, “Cheers to the New Year and Another Chance for Us to Get It Right!”
Here in Orlando, we like the idea that the new year is a blank book with 365 brand new, blank pages upon which we pause before we write our story. Let’s make it a good one!
